On June 30, 2026, the Dehon Group and its brand Climalife laid the foundation stone for their new distillation unit at the Roussillon Chemical Platform.
Equipped with three state-of-the-art columns, this facility will be capable of processing over 500 tonnes of fluorinated waste annually and recovering nearly 80% of waste that is currently incinerated.
Supported by several research centers and protected by patents, this project aligns with Climalife’s strategy to develop sustainable solutions and support the refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump (RACHP) industry.
This advancement strengthens the circular economy and contributes to French and European sovereignty goals. A pioneer in the fluorinated fluid lifecycle, Climalife has already helped avoid over 48 million tonnes of CO₂ equivalent in Europe. With this new unit, an additional 15 million tonnes could be avoided by 2030.
This project is made possible through the support of authorities and committed partners, including GIE OSIRIS, Solstice Advanced Materials, Processium, and ERAS.
